We had a personal chat with Anna at DIY Musician Con 2019 and learned about her Austin, TX solo career.
This keyboardist singer-songwriter makes music in Austin, TX and gosh is it representative! She learned the ins and outs of the music industry from playing piano since age 6, running a piano studio, writing with a theatre collective, playing in the indie-folk band The Wheelwrights, and playing at open mic nights. She now continues her solo career winning a top prize in the 2019 Woody Guthrie songwriting competition and playing at the Dripping Springs Songwriters Festival this month! We've included our favorite single here: "Where were you" from her 2019 album Shifting Sand.
